My Story.
 My Mission.

Hi I’m Kat,
I’m the creator of FOXFIT BODY. I am passionate about health, fitness and your overall wellbeing and am strongly motivated to help you reach your health goals.

Original country girl, I grew up in a small town in the North East Victoria called Yackandandah. Always having a very active lifestyle as a child being involved with different sports such as Auskick, Gymnastics, Circus Training, Swimming, Calisthenics and my favourite sport of all Horse Riding.

I spent 9 years doing Calisthenics in a competitive team.

It taught me how to carry myself, have confidence, work with different people I love the feeling of having butterflies while being side of stage waiting to go on, and then bam, the music starts and it go time

I gave up Calisthenics to follow my passion of Equestrian. Competing in local competitions and the wider state on my noble steed Wilga–Dash. I qualified to compete at the State Championships held in Werribee, Victoria in my first year of competing. 

I spent the following years travelling around from competition to competition each weekend with my mum and sister. When I wasn’t competing I was working for a prestigious Competitive Stud in Shepparton where I was learning and up skilling.

2012 was set to be a very big and exciting year for Me. Little did i know that it wasn’t going to turn out the way I expected.

On the 5th February 2012, my world would literally change. I was thrown from the back of a Ute, head first into the bitumen road.

Witnesses in the area called for 000 and I was rushed to Albury Base Hospital where I was flown to The Royal Melbourne Hospital in an educed coma. I spent 12 days in a coma and 11 days on life support.

My injuries include:

  • 2 x complete fractures of my skull;
  • A depressed fracture;
  • Severe bleeding on the right frontal lobe (brain);
  • Displacement of the brain; and
  • Displacement of the brain stem.

Due to the uncertainty and unpredictability of equestrian life with my injuries I chose to move to Melbourne and “start a fresh”.

I have spent the next 3 years regaining strength and working toward getting my life back on track.

I started out at Anytime Fitness where I wasn’t able fully help people achieve their health and fitness goals and so FoxFit body was born. I then got into Metabolic Precision where I learnt about a more holistic approach to fitness and personal training.

My Qualifications include:

  • Cert 3 & 4 Fitness
  • Metabolic Nutritionist
  • Athletic Conditioning Coach
  • Transformation Specialist
  • Boxing Instructor
  • Level 1 Kettle Bell Instructor
  • Level 3 Metabolic Specialist

I believe that personal training is more than just excising and eating the right food but it’s about creating good habits and having fun so you can live the life you want to lead.

I’m not just another Personal Trainer, I have walked the hard yards and literally had to learn how to stand before I walk and walk before I could run (“Lame I know”).
